1: The natural antimicrobial alternative CP609 is formulated primarily from grape extract sourced from Europe. The polyphenolic compounds in grape extract—such as proanthocyanidins, flavonols, catechins, and resveratrol—work by disrupting bacterial cell membrane structures, increasing permeability and causing the leakage of intracellular contents. They also inhibit bacterial protein synthesis and the activity of crucial enzymes, bind to bacterial cell wall polysaccharides to block nutrient absorption, and interfere with bacterial DNA replication. As a result, CP609 effectively suppresses a wide range of bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, and Listeria.
